“PAVA Architects’ three interventions represent different ways of dealing with both the past and the future. Different conditions of existing structures, together with different programmatic needs, led to the varying ways of inserting the new into the old. For the most part, the new elements are so discreet and respectful of the site’s many pasts, that the transition from old to new is almost seamless.”
The project was published in The July/August issue of The Architectural Review, celebrating the winning and commended projects of the awards.
